Stripped hub nut/cv shaft. Removal?

Cut two flat spots on the nut with a dremmel, Punch it, and put a 1/4" drill
bit (or other size) to it and drill the sides out of it. Once through, you
should be able to snap the bugger in half.

> Anybody have an idea? The nut and/or the cv shaft end is stripped so that
the nut won't come off (just spins in place).
