Some has been mention about original Team Scirocco merchandise lately.
My question is this: what exactly was "Team Scirocco"? Does is refer
to the Scott Racing team that ran the '76 Trans-Am under two-liter
championship and was featured in VW brochures and ad material? Or was
it Tam Davey's SCCA GT3 championship winner of 1980/81? Or both?
Neither? Anyone who knows about Scirocco racing history or was there to
actually experience it care to chime in?
