Ok folks, I have a very technical set of questions. 88 16v VW scirocco The knock ignition system. is it a variable retard based on the amplitude or the frequency of the knock sensor or is it an on or off. If it is variable, how does it work exactly. i understand knock = retard the ingition. How could one tap into the system to retard the ignition. Brian
