Info wanted on these custom clear tails on this black Mk2

umm..he runs a local shop, his car was the 1st modded scirocco I ever =
saw. :P
I will ask him in the morning, but I can place money on the fact they =
are stock US. :P

They looking nothing like the frames on my MkII and I will bet money =
that the frames on mine ARE stock.

Those are not stock US MkII taillight frames. Maybe European?

Those were made using office ceiling light panels molded onto =
stock lights replacing the lenses.

I remember a while back they were for sale. Anyone know the =
current owner or the creator of these lights? Any help is appreciated. =
BTW, best I can tell is that it looks as if he used that eggshell stuff =
from fluorescent light fixtures. How he did it, I'd like to know. =20
