twin - possibility of a2 subframes?

I don't know the tranny codes, but a local yard has a bunch of A2
Golfs/Jettas (there's one 16V Golf) and the trannies are $100. I also asked
about the front suspension when I was there today. The front cross-member,
A-arms and strut assemblies would be $80 if he pulls them. Just something
to compare prices to for your twin-engined beast if you decide to use the A2
suspension.
