Thanks for all the feedback about springs.

I think I may try a 35mm Boge Turbogas kit as... err... they're cheap,
and I'm poor. I remember looking at them when I wanted to sort my mk1
Golf (rabbit?) out 6 or 7 years ago, but never did it.

I shall replace the top mounts at the same time, as the car has done 92K
and these supposedly have a life of 75K (and I have a suspension clunk
it may fix).

Has anybody tried these?
