Does rear axle from '81 Rabbit fit '81 Scirocco?



Your left kidney is safe - the axles are interchangeable, although if you 
can find a donor from an A1 Jetta you'll get one pre-drilled for a 
swaybar, with an 18mm one already installed, unless it's a GLI, in which 
case it will be a 20,5mm bar (same as Mk2 Scirocco 8V)

And who says that a diesel doesn't need a rear sway bar?????? :)
