When you are accept/hired for the job, you can advise them that you have one
small request, you have planned to be in ohio with your family for your
grand mothers 90th b-day, June 3-7th, (allowing for plane flights), and the
doctors said they may not last another 6 months so it's a special
celebration about her life and all the family will be there..

I used it when I got hired by nokia, of course it was unpaid days off, but
it was fine with me :) and I got to go to my first Cincy, in 2001 that way!
