SOT-in my mail-recall notice

Boy do I know that feeling! After 17 months and 47,000 miles I need to
spend nearly $2K for an extended warranty on the benz. :-(

The Scirocco took the miles better then I think the Benz will. With
the Scirocco there was a regular stream of inexpensive things breaking
every once in a while. I fear that the Benz will occasionally break
something very expensive.

70,000 miles in four years is nothing. My wife and I spread our
mileage between three cars at around 47,000 miles a year if we aren't
too busy with work. It sucks when you have relatively new cars with
over 100,000 miles on them

if you can show that you've been bringing it in for the same problem
for some time, you should be reimbursed. also, although i haven't
heard of a recall with a mileage limit (i got the gas tank recall on
the old rocc done in 2000 with like 150k on the clock), 70k is a lot
in 4 years i think. where the hell do you go?
