I feel stupid for asking, but..

I took my vw scizzor jack out of the "space saver" spare tire well for
the first time in many years. And now I can't figure out how it's supposed
to go back in and still sit below the level of the trunk floor.

My owner's manual is hundreds of miles away, could somebody scan the
picture showing all the crap stuffed in to the spare tire hole, or maybe
give me some pointers on how the jack is supposed to fit back in?
