CIS Question

78 by default came with points and no O2 computer.

If this car such it is a hybrid and take it from there. 

The 85/6 GTI 1.8 should be something like an RD w/ 10:1 compression, it
should be set up w/ a knock sensor if your going to run it on the
street. (You can get away with not using one but the RD came with one).

I'd be asking for more documentation from the seller before putting the
money down, if it's not too late.

btw- the GTI of that era came w/ CIS-e.
