What do used cylinders look like? was: Runners on 2.0 vs. 1.8,16v



The most important thing when checking cylinders is that they don't look
scored on the sides from piston slap or pitted from rust from sitting too
long.  VERY slight scoring is ok but something that will probably need
attention in the near future if your planning to run the motor hard.  The
shape of the cylinder is also important as you don't want it looking like an
egg.  HTH!
