MkI vents

To be honest - I've never known what option "package" calls for them....I was under the impression certain '78's had them, but now I'm thoroughly confused!  :-/

Are opening vents that rare? And if so, can they be swapped from, say, a 
rusty red 1980 car into a much nicer 1979 green one? Seriously, my parts car 
has them...can they be swapped? Cathy
