2.0l 16V Swap Page?

Jeff,
This does help, anyone with experience to share is a big help.
Your second example is what I had envisioned. An A2, actually a Passat
which is a B Series, so in either case it would involve and intake/fuel
swap to the passenger's side. The electronics would therefore be
Montronic.
Also, the donor car is a complete car.

Finally, since the 2.0 16V is not the 'tall block', there are
minimal problems with utilizing the existing exhaust, correct?

Thanks, Rick K.

Don't know of a page specifically...I assume this is for a Motronic
setup?

What year are you swapping the powerplant into? This job is considerably
easier if it's going into an '84+ mk2 from a wiring standpoint because
the
base fuseboxes are identical.

I just completed an A1 (driver's side, CIS-E) 2L16v swap into my cabby a
few
weeks ago. Did all of the electrical work myself too.

Other than getting the fuel supply, a few air/vacuum lines, airbox
wiring
issues out of the way, the A2 version shouldn't be any different
(provided
you have a complete donor).

Doubt that helps, but hopefully, I can add some value when your
questions
become more specific. Keep us posted and G/L!
