Noisy and slow engine, unstable idle speed - What can be the problem ?

The car is a Scirocco 1.8 GTX 84.

My engine have over the past year sounded more and more bad..
Like clikking and rattleling sounds.. Also it seams to run slower and
slower..
It has lack of acceleration and problems holding a constant
idlespeed/tick-over.. i goes up and down +-500rpm. Sometimes it skips 1 =
or 2
ignitions (The car jump a little).
No starting problems.. just needs a little gas at start.
These thing are brand new:

Spark Plugs
Battery
Water pump
V-belt
Drive-Belt

Generator testet ok.
Oil & Water level testet ok.

What can be the problem/problems here ??
