Seafoam?

I've seen it in Speedway gas stations 'round here in greater Detroit, as
well.

Sea Foam is neat stuff. I haven't used it in my Scirocco, but it's a cheap
and easy trick for carbed and TBI engines where you can pour it straight
into the intake. A buddy and I use it once every six months or so in my
boyfriend's S-10 Blazer -- pour it in slowly at high idle (1500rpm) until
the car dies, then dump the rest in. Five minutes later restart and run it
up to 2500rpm and hold it there, enjoying the noxious smokescreen for 5-10
minutes while it burns off varnish and carbon deposits.

Can't do that with a CIS car, but with all the tight bends in the fuel
system, it's probably best to dump it in the gas tank anyway. And at $5 a
can, it can't hurt. :)
