Crossmember brace install

clueless shop + continued vibration after install = passenger mount pressed
the wrong way into the bracket. that'd be my guess anyway. and to get back
on topic with the bar, this bar looks like it will resist downward forces,
but not front/back forces. i thought we were working on the assumption that
the motor torque both forward and down was the cause of the cracks? also,
i'm not sure that the testing method is that valid--i'm thinking that once
the xmember cracks and the cracks get to a certain size, they don't grow as
much, since the xmember is now more flexible. i guess i'm saying we can't
assess the effect of the bar without a control car that has the same cracks,
and is driven the same way over 3 months without a bar.
