too much oil!?



Buddy of mine also had a lynx and had the same problem.  Since I was
with him when the car became a flaming kitty and was able to put the
fire out quickly, I was able to see what happened.  He too had over
filled the oil and what happened was that extra oil was getting blown
through the crack case vent hose into the intake.  From there the oil
drained down to the intake opening and was actually dripping onto the
exhaust manifold.  Well, I think you can get the idea what happend then.

Needless to say, it was actually kind of interesting and the lynx
managed to live on for a few more weeks before he killed it completly.
