Hahaha! That's so funny. I can totally relate to your
story. In my case the only thing that was really
stupid was using the wrong marks on the cam gear so
that it was 100-deg off or so. But I spent two or
three weeks before I had a car that didn't leak
something somewhere. It seemed like every stinkin'
fuel/oil/coolant line had some minor issue. And even
after that, I still had a crankcase breather that was
throwing a ton of oil into the intake. Finally fixed
that this week.

It's been about two months of pain, but my car is
finally running reasonably good. It's still running so
rich that I'm on my third oxygen sensor, but now that
most of the other stuff is sorted, I've got a couple
of other chip programs from SNs to try.

I can't wait until I hear you've got it sorted out.
Yesterday was my second autocross with the car, and
the first time I pushed it hard past 6000rpm. Big
grins! Gawd is that fun! I was .1 sec behind the
fastest raw time of the day...a supercharged Miata. He
hadn't been paying attention to my times, but suddenly
he came up to me before my last run and wanted to know
what I'd done to the car. :)
