Still no alternator function- Getting depressed




Your grounds run from the Alt to the battery but you seemingly bypass
the block & chassis. (Not really but it's a point worth making.)

Run that Alt ground strap to the BLOCK, then the one you have from the
back of the motor can take it to the chassis. Lastly, pull the battery &
air box out of the way and redo the ones underneath, the stock
locations.

You mention continuity on the blue exciter wire but is it getting 12v?
