The technique for supplying oil to the wrist pin by drilling "up" the =
rod is in fact known by everyone as Rifle Drilling.

Hence the language in the link Marc referenced:=20

"Pauter offers the option to "rifle drill" the rods so that the wrist =
pin is fed pressurized oil directly from the rod bearing."
