Wheels (17")?

In Ohio I couldn't even keep 15's straigh w 195/50's on them.  It also
manged to blow up 2 sets of Koni Sport adjustable shocks on the front.  Each
set lasting about a year and half.  I had Neuspeed race springs on it at the
time.  Our cars don't have enough suspension travel to begin with and
lowering them makes it worse.  Big fat heavy wheels and tires are not are
cars friends.  If you must have big wheels get the lightest wheels and tires
you can find as this will help reduce the lods the shocks / suspension sees.

My BBS RXs are 17x7.5 (the ones now on Shannon's car) and they've got
205/40/17 tires with a 35mm offset I think. My car is dropped fairly low and
I had some rubbing problems until I took out the fender liner and ground out
some of the body kit. No problems now :) Shannon though, didn't have any
problems with rubbing when he put them on his car. I have a (now blown)
Jamex suspension and he has a boge/koni mix with h&r springs I think.

I know this group of people running 17s on their Mk2 with little or NO
problems whatsoever...  Hopefully some will chime in as to their specs.
