OT: anybody have a Porsche 924 before?

Porsche 924? RUN!!!!!! Unless, of course it is a later S or the lovely but
tempermental Turbo. The Early ones were also not known for
rustproofing...One of the mags (I Think Grassroots Motorsports) did an
article on every bolt on known to man for the normally aspirated 924, and
after taking the car apart like 8 times, dynoing it repeatedly, they pretty
much got zip.... That was after cam changes, Throttle Body mods, Mass Air
Flow Changes, Exhaust, header, every time they'd make one advance, they'd go
backwards in another area. They said after all that, they could have bought
an early-mid 944 or an already modded or better 924 Turbo.
Exercise in futility.
