I'd still take it in and get it checked out. Even if you don't get a
dollar from insurance you need to have them take a look.

I would drain the motor oil, look for particles. Perhaps have it sent
for analysis.

Leak down test on the cylinders, run some Techroline through the tank
etc.

Welcome back. Do something sneaky with a cut out switch and or alarm in
case they think they can come back again.
