Point of O2 sensor?...

I think there should be some sort off change when you dissconnect the O2
sensor, maybe minor, there wasn't any change when I pulled mine and everyone
said that was a good idicator that it was toast.

As for the hall sender, I don't know what it would take to test that. Mine
is cracked and the dis leaks a bit of oil so I just give it a good cleaning
and I chenge it's zip-tie every few weeks. The way I see it for now, it
will take me years to spend the $150 a replacement ditributor will cost in
zip-ties. So for now it's the famous zip-tie mod that everyone's raving
about until a spare $150 falls in my lap for a replacement.

I'm sure more listers will pipe in and help ya figure out whats going on, I
just know a few symptoms and what I was able to do when I had them. It's
kinda like curing the common cold, the same thing doesn't work for everyone.

sorry for the confusion. Should it run badly without the O2 sensor
connected? Also, how would I diagnose a bad hall sender?... mine's not
cracked, and there's no oil leaking around it (dist. & rotor are new).
