Transmission question.

Can the guts of a 2Y close ratio be put into a FN? I have a 2Y that has had
SMS and my brother has the FN that is making noise and just not behaving
properly.

I know the preload of the R&P will need to be reset but that should be no
problem.

So list, can it be done? Has anyone done this? Ron?
