Howling Power Steering

Could it be that it's letting you know that it's at the end of it's travel
and you should let up a little on the wheel? In my experience most all
hydraulic systems will do that at the end of their travel. My car does, my
truck does my, tractor does. It can't hurt to check and make sure it has
fluid. Running a hydraulic pump dry is a sure way to have to buy a new one.
