(OT)Spain

I had a great time there also. It has back in the day when I was in the
Navy. The island of Mallorca is amazing. It 's a favorite vacation spot
for most of Europe. My Spanish was and is really shaky, but there were
lots of people that speak English. Others have already commented on the
quality of the night life. There are some pro cycling teams that train in
southern Spain in the winter. I remember my tongue hanging out trying to
keep up with one group while they were eating during their 200 km ride!
The seafood and citrus products were great. I did freak out the first
time I opened up a blood orange. In Benidorm, we went to a go kart track.
Now these are not the carts that you find in the US. These carts had no
low end power, but you could hit 60 on the back stretch! We spent about a
5 weeks total worth of port time in Spain. Great weather, people, food,
bars and fun.
