Insane speed in german cars(280z)

The 280z looks very aerodynamic, but it sacrificed a lot of that for looks.  If you simply put headlight covers and an airdam on it, I would think that the Cd would easily surpass that of an A1.  But maybe I'm biased since I've owned four early Z's...
