skidplate on my 1992 GT-II



This is an air dam, to deflect air from the engine
compartment. Reduces drag, improves MPG, more
stability at high speed...

BMWs have that, and other high end sports car.

Never forget that VW has one of the best wind tunnel
in the industry.
