The problem with these things is that they can come back and bite you in the 
ass.

Just because it doesn't hurt now doesn't mean a year or two from now you'll 
end up with a stiff neck. Heard it happen to plenty of people. If it hurt 
for a couple of weeks .. well, I'd get it checked out. Would suck if you 
couldn't turn your head in the future.

hmm... i really don't want to hire a lawyer. i don't like 'em, and i want to
get this settled. i'm not hurt that badly; the pain is pretty much gone, and
it only hurt bad for a couple of weeks. there weren't even any x-rays taken,
so my evidence is just based on the hospital bill and the police report
saying that my neck was sore.
