Yes it should vary slightly, as EGO content changes, somewhere between 0 and
1V. 

The bentley has a whole series of electrical tests to make at the plug to
the Jetronic Brain, this will tell you if anything is busted.

For instance, if the coolant temp sensor is out of whack, then the computer
will think that the motor is always cold, and the DPR current will be fixed.
