OXS Light is on... Whatever does it mean?

There is a mileage counter in the little black box the speedometer cable
runs through.  The light doesn't have anything to do with the actual
functioning of the 02 sensor.    There is a reset button on the little
black box that will make the light go out.  Easy, free fix.  Hey, what
could be better than that?!?
