swishy noise from tranny?

It's been doing it as long as I can remember, but I was wondering if I =
switch fluids in the trans if it would go away?

tranny is AYB.

noise is like sound a top loader washing machine makes (just not as =
loud!) , weird description, I know.

no problems shifting otherwise...
