Financial tally on our cars!

In the 9 months I've had it...

2.0 shortie w/ 20k ($550)
Autotech cams ($350+tax)
TT DP/Cat combo ($325)
Supersprint cat-back ($525)
Battery ($80)
Motor mounts (~$100)
MoMo Competition Wheel w/ hub (~$175)
ABD Shortshift Kit (~$90)
Used Center Console ($15)
Alpine CD ($26)
(4) Infinity Kappa 4x6s ($160)
New Alarm ($90)
Used 16" TSW Wheels w/ Yoko Paradas ($650)
K&N Filter ($40)
Distributor ($155)
Used DFQ tranny ($400 including shipping)
euro lights w/ 80/110w H4s, 110w Yellow star H3s, city light conversion (all
not yet installed) (~$300 total)
(4) ATE slotted rotors (not yet installed) (~$150)
Stainless Steel brake lines (not yet installed) (~$80)
Hella Air Horns (not yet installed) ($30)
H&R Springs (coming for my b-day) (Free to me!)

Next on the list - euro bumpers, bilstein HDs, all bushings/bearing required
to recondition the suspension, CV boot replacement (dreading)

I shudder to think what the total is...and if my fiancee saw this, I'd be in
trouble! But I'm nowhere done and this is just the beginning. Plans are
already in the works for a 1.8t in a black (hopefully '89 Scala) Mk2 (will
need to get from Canada somehow)

For some perspective, this pales in comparison to what it costs to soup up
an E30 M3! ($5k for Evolution Piston Kit (w/o labor), $4k for a
Supercharger kit (w/o labor), $550 for a Supersprint muffler (yes, just the
muffler!)
