Emission Spec Poll - What are your CO/HC Limits



Well for Mars:
1981 Scirocco
San Jose, CA

1999 (old 1715c motor)
2533rpm
HC (ppm):  max-150,  test-48
CO (%) max-1.50, test-0.38
890rpm
HC (ppm):  max-120,  test-23
CO (%) max-1.50, test-0.01

1999 (new TT-1847cc motor)
2306rpm
HC (ppm):  max-150,  test-13
CO (%) max-1.50, test-0.08
981rpm
HC (ppm):  max-120,  test-19
CO (%) max-1.50, test-0.01

2001 (TT-1847cc motor)
2440rpm
HC (ppm):  max-150,  test-9
CO (%) max-1.50, test-0.01
981rpm
HC (ppm):  max-120,  test-18
CO (%) max-1.50, test-0.01

The TT motor was tested with a high flow cat and the following mods:
