16v or corrado brake will fit,

you can install 10.1/8.9 16v disc brakes (need 14" or bigger) without too
many big issues, Booster needs to be replaced with a MKII 85+ (8v or 16v)
and the Master cylinder needs to be swapped with 16v rocco MKII or  A2 1990
G60 COrrado (Non-ABS) M/C, next  you will have problems (I do beleive) with
your brake sensors, if I recall correcly on the MKI's you have 6 outlets on
your Master Cylinder, if that is the case you will need to find 2 brake
pedal asssembly sensors from a MKII car and make them fit oon your pedal
assembly, then run the wires from the sensors of the MKI m/C to the pedal
sesors to have brakes lights turn on. Also you will need to source some 16v
proportionning valves. you will need to relocate the drum hard brake line in
the rear from atop the axle to below tohe axle and add a brake line to meet
the 16v calipers.

Basically here is a list

Front
Carrier, Caliper, Rotor, Pads.

Rear
Hub, Carrier, Caliper, Rotor, Pads, Bearing kit

General

MKII 85+ Booster
16v/G60 Master Cylinder
16v Proportioning valves (2)
16v S/S Brakes lines.
MKII 8v/16v Brake Pedal Sesors switches (2)
E. Brake Lines (2)

I know I do not have a MKI but check my web site (if you havre not done this
already) it contains 3 tech notes on my conversion (MKII 85) and probably
give you a little better idea what is require if you compare the information
with your car.
