1-3 gears I'm all over the place!



This is what Honda does in their cars, at least on the Accord/Prelude
chassis. Works pretty well for controlling torque-steer, at least in the
couple of Prelude Si's we've owned.

The mechanics are pretty straight forward, the hardest part is fabbing up
the "extender" shaft. Hmm, would a Swedish pump work for that - er,
nevermind. I would want to either support it with another bearing or at
least balance the extension to keep the wobbles out.
