Back on the road
Finished putting the rear driver's side wheel bearings/stub axle/drum back
together. I had to drill out one of the busted off bolts, and I am
concerned that it might have weakened that bolt hole. I really worked it,
lots of heat, lots of drilling. I even had the busted off bolt glowing Red
Hot when I cut it off flush so I could drill it.
Is there a chance that I weakened the threads in the hole by doing this. Is
this dangerous? Should I take it apart and tap it out to the next larger
size?
