Last night I pulled the head from the JH engine in my '86.  The PO told me that the head had been ported and polished, but it looks completely stock to me.  Am I correct in assuming that a P&P head would be smooth in the area behind the intake valves (instead of the usual rough casting finish), or am I totally wrong about what P&P means?
