Air filters and other stuff pt.2

No one answered yesterday, but any suggestions on how to get some reasonable workspace at the air filter on my 88 16v? A few other questions as well. Does anyone make a chip for my car? Preferably one not requiring 92 octane fuel. Anyone know where I can get a Jamex filter setup? Lastly, I found some Jamex springs on Ebay that are in Germany. First, are Jamex springs decent and second, could someone please tell me if these will fit my scirocco? I could read most of the German, except for a few key words and since I don't speak it, I can't ask the bidder. Here are the links:

I really appreciate your help. Hope you all are enjoying Cincy, I would have loved to have been there. Unfortunately, Waterfest is also out this year, but there's always year! One more thing, is there anyone on this list from Poughkeepsie, NY or nearby? I've seen about 5-6 Sciroccos around and was wondering if any where here.
