More air shroud questions...

I've got new non-airshrouded injectors (or are they all the same?), but
I want to use those with my new setup (2.0ABA w/ JH airshrouded head). 
>From what I've read in the archives all I have to do is remove the
lower plastic tubey thingy that's below the threaded injector "seal". 
Is this correct?

Correct my thinking if this isn't going to work right:

-Eliminate plastic tubey thingy
-Using non-airshrouded injectors
-Using non-airshrouded injector seals
-Connect shroud "port" on head to the rubber "accordian" piece before
the throttle body

So will the airshrouding "idea" still work when it's hooked up like
this (without the tubey thingies)?  Or would it be better to block off
the port on the head altogether?

Once again, thanks for all your help listers!  The stuff I've learned
from you guys (and can't forget the ladies!) just blows me away
sometimes...
