talked to the insurance co today (was insurance ?)

I agree with Rick that we are too litigious in our society today but
there are reasons to sue, as Rick also said. This dad has a reason for
taking this stance with his son. Perhaps the son is a real hellraiser
and the father is trying to make the son pay for his mistakes. I can
understand and support that father's actions. However, as stated if the
boy is a minor the father is responsible, sorry dad I can feel the pain,
and if the son is not a minor he needs to feels his pain and so I too
encourage you to take whatever action you can to make things right for
you and to not let the son get away with his wrong actions.

IF the kid is being charged with a crime as a minor.....then the parents
are legally responsible for the actions of the child.
IF he is being charged as an adult then your only recourse is to sue his
ass. Go to court, settle and have the courts Garnesh (sp) his wages
until your payed back.
You definetely need to talk to an attorney.
