[ot] is this bad/lazy driving ???



One additional thought.
If you're powering out of a turn and should start to provoke a little
slippage (or if you have a Quaiffe) the steering will tend to lock where
it is, so in this case you just about need two hands on the wheel to
force it staight.
I tend to one hand it (although never rest my hand on the gear lever)
and go to two hands as speed and/or risk increase.
