CIS-E vs. CIS-Motronic

the fuel distributor mainly. its the heart of how cis manages fuel. once it starts unevenly
distributing fuel or acting non-linear, or developes dead spots, it directly affects your engine
performance. Heck, the rieger used to idle on 2 cylinders. it was consistent, and it did sound kinda
cool, but i had crappy fuel distribution (read - power) up to about 2000 rpm. there are many tricks
to disassembly and cleaning (several parts removed are adjustable). you pretty much need a fuel flow
test bench set up and some other gear to properly reassemble/align it after cleaning.
