Transmission question



Well, in any event you should get the 16V pressure plate. It has greater
clamping force so can absorb more torque (for when you add that turbo!)
If I understand correctly you have a tranny that was mated to a 2.0 16V.
If that is the case, then you should use a 16V disc.
Clutch wear is related to how much it is slipped. With the clutch fully
engaged and not slipping there is NO wear.
So, clutch life is mostly a function of operator use.
