Oil leak - please help

Ok i have the most awful oil leak . i put in 4L in a week. about 1 gallon!!
its leaking from the side facing the front of the car. its a 1.8L 1988
16v(you guys probaly know already since i have so many damn problems with
this car) where is the most likely spot for this bad of a leak. i changed
the oil cooler seal(what a PITA 4 hours of work in -30 celsius weather). i
took the wires off the sensors and it was soaked in oil? but when i run it i
dont see oil coming frmo it. where else could it be leaking this badly from?
