Pressure in the Valve Cover (16v)



There is relaly very little pressure in the head. Any pressure goes out the
breather line into the intake.
    SInce the intake is always at a suction, there is no need for a PCV
valve. The oil in the distributor is due to the failed seal (inside the
distributor), which acts as the camshaft oil seal for that side. There is
actually oil pressure on that bearing, half of which is felt on the
distributor end.
    As for the oil cap, stock caps love to leak. Mostly due to splash from
the intake cam at high rpm. Get the audi cap from potterman, it doesnt leak.
