Removing glass...how to w/o wrecking seals?

If the seals are in good shape so you're not afraid you'll damage them
then removing the glass and seals is absolutely the way to go when
repainting the car.
I stripped all the glass and trim from my 84 when I repainted it.
Everything came apart OK, (which doesn't mean I wasn't sweating bullets
when prying the glass out!) but like a dumbass I busted the windshield
during reinstallation. I got the second one in OK.
