Does it? I find it quitre odd that I had these conclusions (which I
posted earlier) and then I get a call from Potterman saying the same
thing I thought, but hadnt shared with anyone. its just odd.

My tranny was built by Eurosport for Mannix so I know it got ALL new
seals, bearings, bits pieces that he thought it would ever possibly need
to withstand all the abuse and beating that Mannix and Wenzel would put
on it. Ive had it a couple years and its still as tight as it was the day
I installed it and it reportedly had 15K on it since the rebuilt/quaife
installation. Ive beat the hell out of it, done a few road events,
burnout events ect. Its a quality piece and will definitely let Raffi do
any tranny work I will need in the future. No problem.

Pottermans tranny was also done by Eurosport.

Which one? Well, doesn't matter as I wont be able to attend this year. I
just have got too much stuff going on with the racing thing and the new
house thing.

If I did go, id probably bring the 84 since its got more motor than the
82 does. its "Potterman fast" but it was built as a mild street car for
the wife. (Who just got her first ticket in 30 years doing 68 in a 45.)
Might be too much car for her now.

Its the same car that held off a couple 2.0L 16v GTi's at the track at
Pahrumph last October. Its nowhere near where I want it to be for the
street. (the 4K is going in soon with the diff kit and the Eurorsport
header is being swapped between cars.)

So, hopefully by this time next year the 82 will have its new monster8v
motor installed and a few thousand miles already on the clock before I
trek it to Cincy. That's a long ass haul to hang out in a guys yard ya
know. I mean, it would be easier to justify it if there was a race or
something. LOL!!!
